Port Introduction
Located at the mouth of B-RUNEI on the northeast coast of Brunei (full name: Brunei Darussalam DARUSSALAM), in the northern part of Kalimantan Island, adjacent to the south side of Brunei Bay. The port was formerly known as Brunei (Brunei) before 1970 and is the maritime gateway of Brunei. Bandar Seri Begawan is the capital of Brunei and the political, economic, cultural, and transportation center of the country. It is also a member of ASEAN. Brunei is rich in resources, with oil and natural gas being the pillars of its national economy. Its per capita GDP is nearly 20000 US dollars, ranking second in Asia and making it a wealthy nation in Southeast Asia. The main industries include rubber processing and sawmilling. The Saifuding Mosque in the city is the largest Islamic temple in Southeast Asia and has the world's largest palace. The port has a modern international airport and regular flights to various parts of Southeast Asia. The port has a tropical rainforest climate with no seasonal distinction. The annual average temperature is 23-32 ℃, with abundant rainfall, with an average annual rainfall of about 3000mm. Hong Kong is a semi diurnal tidal port with an average tidal range of 1.2m. The main dock berths in the port area have a coastline of 223m and can accommodate 5000 ton ships during high tide. Large ocean going vessels are loaded and unloaded at MUARA Port. The main export goods include crude oil, wood, rubber, coconut, and camphor, while the imported goods mainly include food, machinery, transportation equipment, industrial products, and pharmaceuticals. The main trade includes Japan, the United Kingdom, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and the United States.
