Port Introduction
Located on the southern bank of the Belize River estuary along the eastern coast of Belize (full name: Belize), it borders the northwest side of the Caribbean Sea and is the largest port in Belize. It was once the capital of Belize and a key hub for maritime transportation. The economy is mainly based on sugarcane and timber production, with forests accounting for over 70% of the country's area and abundant production of rosewood. Coastal fishery resources are abundant, including crayfish, swordfish, manatees, and corals. There is only one university in the city in the country. The port is about 16km away from Berlis International Airport and has regular flights to the United States and Latin American countries. The port has a tropical rainforest climate with prevailing easterly winds. The annual average temperature is about 25 ℃ to 27 ℃. Hurricanes often occur from May to October every year. The average annual rainfall is about 1500mm, with the rainy season from June to November. The tidal range inside the port is not large, with an average of 0.1m. There are three main berths in the port area, with a shoreline length of 317m and a maximum water depth of 9.1m. The loading and unloading equipment includes movable cranes, tugboats, and roll on/roll off facilities, as well as a 200mm diameter oil pipeline for loading and unloading. Loading and unloading efficiency: Crude oil can be unloaded at a rate of 272 tons per hour. The depth of the roll on/roll off berth is 5.1m. The depth of the anchorage for large ships is 9.8m. The free zone of Hong Kong was established in 1978 and covers an area of 40000 m ∧<2>. In 1992, the amount of ingested leaves in containers was 20000 TEUs. The main exported goods were sugar, wood, clothing, fruits, and seafood, while the imported goods mainly included machinery, food, industrial products, and daily necessities. The main trading partners are the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Canada, and Jamaica. Do not work during holidays such as New Year's Day, Labor Day, Easter, and Christmas. Working during other times is considered overtime.
