Located on the north bank of the mouth of the Durres Bay on the western coast of Albania (full name: THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA), adjacent to the southeast side of the Adriatic Sea, it is the largest port in Albania. Founded in 1927, it is a national railway hub. The port is also one of the important industrial centers, with major industries such as tobacco, rubber, flour, and ship repair. There is a warehouse and yard of approximately 90000 m ∧<2>. The maximum reliable ship capacity of the mineral sand terminal is 10000 tons. The oil terminal has a water depth of about 7m and cleaning facilities. Loading and unloading speed: The loading speed of mineral sand reaches 2000 tons per day; Asphalt loading rate of 160 tons per hatch per day; Each hatch can hold 120 tons of groceries per day; Complete sets of equipment, vehicle machinery, hardware and steel, etc. can unload 120 tons per hatch per day. The main export goods are chrome ore, iron sand, asphalt, tobacco, fruits, caustic soda, and textiles, while the imported goods mainly include steel, grains, agricultural machinery, transportation vehicles, and industrial equipment.
