Maersk has issued a notice on its official website stating that heavy rains in Mombasa over the past week have caused intermittent disruptions to port operations.
Due to higher-than-expected yard density and delays in vessel berthing and departure, some vessels have been omitted from their scheduled calls. Under the current circumstances, Maersk anticipates delays in berthing, which will impact the loading and discharging of cargo.
Given the ongoing challenges at the port, berthing, sailing schedules, and vessel omissions are subject to change.
