On November 4th local time, in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, an unexpected plane crash occurred in the vicinity of Muhammad International Airport, resulting in injuries on the scene. Video footage captured the thrilling moment of the plane crash, showing the aircraft heavily colliding with the ground, instantly triggering a massive fire and an explosion, with thick smoke billowing into the air. At present, emergency rescue teams are rushing to the accident site to carry out rescue operations.


The aircraft involved a UPS cargo plane carrying three people.


United Parcel Service (UPS) subsequently issued a statement confirming that the plane that crashed in Kentucky was one of its wide- cargo planes, carrying three crew members. Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport is the core hub of the company's global aviation business.


The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA issued a statement that UPS flight number 2976, departed from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky at around 17:15 local time on November 4, and crashed shortly after takeoff.


The airport subsequently stated that, in order to ensure safety, the airport runway had been closed urgently after the accident; the Louisville Police Department also issued a message confirming that an emergency response process had been rapidly initiated for the plane crash report, and at the same time confirmed that there were injuries on the scene., the police have issued an emergency evacuation order, requiring people within a five-mile radius of the airport to evacuate in place to ensure their safety.


The cargo plane has been in service for 34 years.


The mayor of Louisville revealed that the cargo plane involved was loaded with 280,000 gallons (about1.06 million liters) of fuel.


According to FAA records, the MD-11 cargo plane involved in this incident has been in service for 3 years. For this incident, Boeing, the owner of the type project, has not yet made any comments.
