Pacific International Lines (PIL), HMM, and X-Press Feeders will jointly launch the new NCI (North China–Indonesia) service in June, deploying five vessels of 4,000–5,000 TEU capacity.

The 35-day rotation will cover:

Tianjin – Qingdao – Xiamen – Singapore – Jakarta – Surabaya – Singapore – Tianjin, with the inaugural sailing departing Tianjin on June 17.

Surendran Mathilagath, GM of Intra-Asia Services at PIL, stated:

"We expect Asia to remain a key driver of global trade. The NCI service strengthens port connectivity across China, Singapore, and Indonesia to support growing demand for dry and reefer cargo transport."

An HMM official added that the service complements its existing intra-Asia network and aligns with plans to expand coverage across Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean.
