On April 16, COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") issued an announcement regarding the resignation of its vice chairman, the nomination of an executive director candidate, and the appointment of senior management personnel.
▌ Resignation of Vice Chairman
The Board of Directors of COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co., Ltd. received the resignation letter of Mr. Chen Yangfan on April 16, 2025. Due to changes in his work position, Mr. Chen voluntarily resigned from his roles as Vice Chairman, Executive Director, and Chairman of the Board’s Strategic Development Committee.
▌ Nomination of Executive Director Candidate
Upon the recommendation of the controlling shareholder, China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited, and following the review and proposal by the Company’s Nomination Committee, the 17th meeting of the 7th Board of Directors held on April 16, 2025, deliberated and unanimously approved the nomination of Mr. Zhang Feng as a candidate for Executive Director. The nomination will be submitted to the Company’s shareholders’ meeting for approval.
▌ Appointment of Deputy General Manager
Upon the nomination of the Company’s Managing Director and following the review and proposal by the Board’s Nomination Committee, the 17th meeting of the 7th Board of Directors held on April 16, 2025, deliberated and unanimously approved the appointment of Ms. Cheng Jing as Deputy General Manager of the Company.
