Van Donge & de Roo was founded on the 1st of July 1977, since the start it has developed from one of Rotterdam’s largest privately owned freight forwarding to a transport & logistics company with multiple brands and activities within the supply chainVan Donge & de Roo (D&R) is active in every area of the supply chain, our activities consist out of 5 pillars which include Container Shipping, Depot and Terminal services, Custom brokerage, Intermodal transportation and IT development.The group comprises out of a number of companies active in various fields of logistics such as freight forwarding, NVOCC (Non-vessel Operating Common Carrier), software development, inter-modal transport (rail/barge/road), customs brokerage, terminal/depot and safety activities.D&R Group’s head office is located in Rhoon, right in the heart of the Port of Rotterdam one of the main ports of Europe and the center of international container shipping.
