AMI CHINA LIMITED

AMI came into existence in 1919 in Belgium. Over the years it developed into a full fledged logistics organisation with a focus on Africa. The company underwent management changes in 2000, wherein the network in India and Dubai was taken-over through a management buy-out by the existing shareholders. AMI International is an independent private limited organisation and was created as the holding company, controlling all its subsidiaries. The objective of the organisation is to develop into a multi-modal logistics organisation with a special focus on niche markets. Today the organisation has offices in UAE, India, China, Canada, Pakistan and Africa. We have started investing in land based assets and presently manage and operate warehouses in Dubai and an inland container depot in Malawi. There are plans in the anvil for operating additional cargo handling centres in East Africa.
