CMEC has begun to export hydropower station since 1979. CMEC exported 252 hydropower generating sets by 2007. In 1980s CMEC had mainly exported 100~3100KW hydropower generating set; in 1990s CMEC had mainly exported 600KW~16.5MW hydropower generating set.
