Shafi Motors Limited (SML) - haulage concern of its kind in the private sector in Bangladesh - is engaged in providing transport services to various national and international agencies operating in Bangladesh since mid sixties with proven efficiency. SML have expanded its business operation on horizontal line by setting up of an ICD division with organizational set up equipment, Bonded Warehouse License facilities for stuffing of cargo for export. The company has been duly registered with BOI for CFS functioning. Presently this division is operating as a complete Off-Dock service provider. Current container storage capacity of the ICD is 4000 TEUs and Bonded warehouse area is 88,000 sft approximately. SML is a Private Limited Company incorporated in December 1978. Before that, it was born in the name of “Shafi Motors” as a proprietorship concern in 1963. The company is managed professionally under the leadership of Al-Haj Syed Mohammad Shafi who is Managing Director of the company.
