Argents Express Group (New York)

Argents Express Group was founded in 1977 by William Chiappetta and today employs 65 people in five offices around the United States. The company offers complete customs brokerage and domestic and international forwarding and logistics services including warehousing and container stuffing, is a certified member of IATA, and holds FMC licenses as an ocean forwarder and NVOCC. Under the Argents DGR program, Argents provides turn-key management of hazardous-material shipments and employs two fully certified hazmat agents in each of its offices as one of independent forwarders of hazardous materials in the US. The company also employs the Argents Tracker program that puts a dedicated linked computer at the client site to maintain a data base of shipment movements and consignees and print labels, Argents air bills, and B/Ls.
