Pactrans (USA) Inc. was established in 1992 as an international freight forwarder. We export goods around the world for both governments and private enterprises. We have been contracted to transport shipments ranging from 747 aircraft engines to Mumbai for Air India and automobiles to Vietnam and China to consumer products and apparel to Australia and Greece. We also assist American corporations with their imports. Our clients include major suppliers to Wal-Mart, Symbol Technologies, Kimberley Clark, as well as construction companies that depend on us for their raw materials. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has selected Pactrans (USA) Inc. as one of their preferred forwarders for emergency relief and we recently helped transport supplies to Puerto Rico. I have over twenty–five years of logistics experience. Before founding Pactrans, I held supervisory and management positions within Schenkers Boston and was Vice President of Air Link USA from 1988 to 1992. I was also a Director of Air Link Portugal from 1986 to 1992. During this period, I transported apparel for major apparel companies, including JC Penney, Jones New York, J.G. Hook, AMC, Frederick Atkins, and Gap Stores.
