HMM has upgraded its East Coast (EC) liner service by adding a call from Port Gaim to the U.S. Coast on its EC2 service.

The upgrade optimizes transit time and expands the range of connections, providing global customers with more flexible shipping options.

For the EC service, the eastbound leg now includes Port Gaim, while the call at Xiamen has been canceled; the westbound leg has been modified to sail around the Cape of Hope, with the addition of Halifax and Singapore ports, replacing the previous Manzanillo and Busan.

The first eastbound voyage will be “HMM Victory 058E”, scheduled to arrive at Port Gaim on December 22, 2025; the first westbound voyage will be “Hyundai Pl 0043W”, scheduled to arrive at Halifax on December 10, 2025.

The EC1 service will maintain its east operation unchanged, while the westbound leg will add Manzanillo and Busan ports.

The first effective voyage for the eastbound will be “Hyundai Saturn 051E”, expected to arrive at Kaohsiung on December 27, 2025; for the westbound, it will be “Contiessa 0022W”, expected to arrive at Manzanillo on December 16, 2025.

For the EC3 service, thebound operation will remain unchanged, and the westbound voyage will cancel the call at Halifax, with import cargoes to be carried on the EC2 service instead.
