On December 1st, ONE issued a notice emphasizing the importance of accurate and truthful cargo declaration, and that if there is discrepancy or concealment of cargo due to incorrect declaration, the shipping company will charge fees according to the relevant regulations.


ONE reminds customers that providing accurate cargo declaration information is for ensuring the smooth handling of goods and for complying with safety regulations.


To support safe and efficient operations, please ensure all cargo declarations are accurate and correct.


If there is a discrepancy between the declared cargo and the actual cargo, additional charges may be incurred following the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) process.


The charging standards will apply to all trade routes and services and will remain in effect until further notice.

【Notes】


This policy applies to non-dangerous goods with special declaration requirements, including but not limited to goods with special stowage, special requirements, non-dangerous chemicals, and batteries, etc.


Cargo must be declared in accordance with the regulations of the designated authority and ensure that the goods are fully.


ONE has the right to withhold the cargo and refuse to amend any bill of lading or other documents before the customer pays the misdeclaration fees.

Just over a week before ONE issued this notice, on the evening of Friday, November 21st, a serious fire broke out on the container shipONE HENRY HUDSON", which was docked at Berth 218 in the Port of Los Angeles, reportedly discovering hazardous substances in several burning cargo holds


At present, the shipowner of the ONE HENRY HUDSON has officially declared general average.
