Currently Managing Director of DHL Global Forwarding Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei, Christopher Lim will succeed Bruno Selmoni as Vice President, Head of Road Freight and Multimodal Transport, Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, he will report directly to Niki Frank, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific.
Christopher joined DHL Group in 2004 as Regional Customer Development Manager. He later held various leadership roles, including Head of Sales & Marketing for Hong Kong and South China in 2013, before being promoted to Managing Director of Malaysia the same year. Following Christopher’s new appointment, Praveen Gregory, currently Senior Vice President of DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific, will take over as Managing Director for Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. He will remain based in Singapore and continue reporting directly to Niki Frank.
Praveen brings extensive logistics experience, having worked with Maersk before joining DHL in 2008 in Dubai’s ocean freight division. Since then, he has held multiple roles across Germany, Hong Kong, and the wider APAC region, including leadership positions in market intelligence, product development, ocean commercial centers, and industrial supply chain customer management. In 2022, he became Vice President of Order Management Solutions for Asia Pacific, followed by his current role in 2023.

Bjoern Schoon, currently Vice President of Global Business Development, Order Management Solutions (OMS), and Ocean Contract Management (OCM), will succeed Praveen as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific. He will relocate to Singapore, reporting to both Niki Frank and Casper Ellerbaek, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Ocean Freight at DHL Global Forwarding.
Bjoern is a seasoned logistics leader with nearly 30 years of experience in ocean freight and supply chain management across major global markets. Before joining DHL, he held key leadership roles at Kuehne+Nagel, including Managing Director for Belgium and Luxembourg (2023), and Managing Director for Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar (2016–2022). He also gained extensive experience in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and South China, focusing on ocean logistics, customer management, and service delivery.
Through these strategic appointments, DHL Global Forwarding aims to better integrate resources, optimize its organizational structure, and enhance operational efficiency to adapt to the evolving market environment and customer needs.
