Recently, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) announced that it will undergo a major upgrade to its Dragon and Jade services, shorter transit times from Asia to the Mediterranean and enhancing the connectivity of the routes.
The Dragon service will add direct calls to the Port of Trieste in Italy, reducing the transit time by 5 days and seamlessly connecting with the ports of Koper, Rijeka, Venice, Ravenna, and Ancona.
The Jade service also undergo an upgrade, adding a direct call to the Port of Fos in France, which can reduce the transit time by 7 days.
These strategic improvements will help enter key markets faster and more reliably.
The first vessel to operate the upgraded Dragon service is the "MSC Thais", with voyage number FD608W expected to arrive at the Port of Busan on February 18th, with the following rotation:
Busan - Ningbo - Shanghai - Nansha - Yian - Singapore - Trieste - Gioia Tauro - Genoa - La Spezia - Sines - New York - Boston - Norfolk - Charleston - Freeportamas - Busan
The first vessel to operate the upgraded Jade service is the "MSC Mette", with voyage number GJ607W, expected arrive at the Port of Qingdao on February 10th, with the following rotation:
Qingdao - Busan - Ningbo - Shanghai Xiamen - Yantian - Singapore - Valencia - Barcelona - Le Havre - Gioia Tauro - Singapore - Qingdao
Through this, MSC reaffirms its commitment to providing efficient, reliable, and customer-centric shipping services.
