On December 30th, ONE updated the customer notification on its official website, providing the latest details regarding the fire incident that occurred on MV ONE HENRY HUDSON at the Port of Los Angeles.
At present, the vessel remains berthed at Yusen Terminal (YTI) in Port of Los Angeles. The initial phase of the cargo discharge was completed last Friday, December 26th. During this phase, dry cargo containers that were not affected by the or the firefighting water were discharged from the cargo holds affected by the fire.
On December 29th, the cargo discharge of damaged containers entered the next phase, is expected to involve further drainage operations of the cargo holds.
All discharged containers are stored at Yusen Terminal (YTI), awaiting inspection by the U.S Coast Guard (USCG) and the handling of general average and salvage processes.
Once more information becomes available, ONE will provide further updates in a timely manner. ONE working closely with all relevant parties and will continue to keep customers informed of the latest situation of the vessel.
