Guangxi Yinhe Avantis Wind Power Co. (hereafter as GYAW) is a joint venture between Guizhou Changzheng Electric Co., Ltd (Hold by Yinhe Group) and Avantis Group. Established in April, 2007. Avantis is also the technology partner – the whole wind turbine design. GYAW believes in design of MW-wind turbines based on direct-drive Permanent Magnet technology – the new technology without gearbox will bring higher efficiency, more safety and less maintenance, which will be the mainstream in the future of wind power industry. GYAW are producing 2.5 MW (IEC II) wind turbine in China, and will also produce 3.5 MW (offshore, IEC I) and 2.3 MW (IEC III) turbines.
