International Cable Corp

International Cable Corporation has been run by the Fruman family for over 100 years. We are by far the oldest company in the cable TV industry and we take pride in the many years of hard work and generations that have helped our business grow. It was my great grandfather, Max Fruman, who started the company in 1903 and today I am the 4th generation of Fruman's to run the company. When Max Fruman opened the doors to International Metal Corporation he spent 90 years focused on providing industrial manufacturers with a recycling solution for their byproduct. As the company established itself as a customer service oriented enterprise, it quickly grew into non-ferrous recycling facility in the Northeast. Today, with the Fruman family still at the helm, the company believes more than ever that by continuing to focus on customer service and providing value to our customers,the business will continue to thrive. In the early 1990's we spun off our cable TV division and International Cable Corporation was created. Though we were dealing in a high tech world of cable TV the principles were still the same. We were buying things from people who no longer had use for them and selling to people who did. The second principle that helped, taught by Max, was that you make a fair profit on every deal and you have a happy customer that is a customer for life. With this customer first approach, International Cable quickly became a leader in the surplus cable equipment industry by following the same principles that created the success of International Metal. We quickly learned that anyone could buy cable and resell it. We knew that we had to distinguish ourself as a company. I asked my father how he thought we should porceed to ensure success. He told me, "Let the other brokers fight over a dollar or a penny and we will watch them go broke." My dad said, "You can go out of business being busy". So what we did was focus on hiring of , from engineers to technicians. And instead of trying to sell products we focused on being solution provider in the industry. No longer did people call for price, they called because knew ICC was company to get them from point A to B. From were they were to where they needed to be. We look back with pride knowing whatever the future has in store for us we will be ready with these principles. More importantly though for now, we look forward. With our dedication to the cable electronics business, being ready to handle any custonmers needs, International Cable Corporation stands ready and eager to meet the challenges of tomorrow and the next generation when my son Max is running the business. I can assure you of one thing. we will be celebrating our 150 aninversary in 2052 we look forwad to seeing you all there.
