Fr. Meyer's Sohn (GmbH & Co.) KG, or FMS for short, is a Hamburg-based globally active transport and logistics company. With more than 400 employees at 27 locations at home and abroad we achieve annual sales of more than 500 million euros. 80% of our total sales are generated from transport and services for the paper industry and we are well known as Europe's biggest independent specialist forwarder in the paper and pulp shipment sector. We move 8.5 million tonnes of forestry products per year. Our remaining 20% of sales are generated from the transport of other goods (general cargo) by air, sea, road, rail and inland waterway.
