SAFI was founded in 1992 with just 22 core employees, initially providing ocean freight and domestic transportation services. In 1993, SAFI became a certified member of FIATA, and the workforce was expanded accordingly to keep pace with the company's rapid business growth. In 1995, the Hanoi branch was officially established. In addition to developing its ocean freight services, SAFI has also achieved significant milestones in air freight transportation. In 2000, the Da Nang branch was established to meet the growing demand for air cargo services in Central Vietnam. Together with the head office in Ho Chi Minh City, which focuses on the Southern market, the Hanoi branch serving the Northern market, and the Da Nang branch covering the Central region, SAFI has completed its comprehensive service network. This network includes multimodal transportation, logistics services, shipping agency, and maritime brokerage. As the maritime transport industry continued to expand, SAFI decided to establish an additional branch office in Hai Phong in 1998 to better serve customers' ocean freight needs. Over the years, SAFI's business operations have continued to grow steadily. The company has further expanded by opening offices in Vung Tau, Quy Nhon, Quang Ninh, and Lang Son to meet the increasing demands of customers.
