Maersk recently announced that it will establish Charlotte as its official North American headquarters, a move that highlights the city's strong infrastructure a foundation for its continued growth and innovation.
Maersk has chosen Charlotte as its official North American headquarters and committed to adding more than 500 jobs the coming years, building on its current Charlotte-based workforce, to eventually total more than 1,300 employees in Charlotte. Maersk has had a presence in for over 20 years and acquired its current office campus in south Charlotte in 2006.
Maersk chose Charlotte for its North American headquarters to the market's reasonable cost of living, growing talent pool, and high quality of life. The headquarters will encompass key corporate functions, including finance, human resources, business, and technology departments.
