On the 3rd, W.E. This means all cargo stakeholders must share the incurred costs in proportion.
The vessel MARIE MAERSK, flying the Danish flag, with a gross tonnage of 194,849 tons a capacity of 18,270 TEU, encountered a fire incident.
On 13 August 2025, during its voyage the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands to the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia, a fire occurred on board the vessel.
The vessel MAR MAERSK will continue her voyage to the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia, and is expected to arrive on 13 September.
The destined for Tanjung Pelepas will not be released for delivery without providing appropriate general average security, which is to the benefit of the cargo interests; cargo planned for tranship to other destinations will also not be released without providing general average security.
