Recently, Maersk's official website released a series of announcements regarding peak season surcharge adjustments, effective from October 1, 2024. Starting from October 1, 2024, Maersk will adjust the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for 20'/40'/45' HDRY containers from China and Hong Kong to Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Benin, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Niger, Togo, Angola, Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Namibia, the Central African Republic, Chad, Guinea, Mauritania, Gambia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cape Verde, and Mali.
The notification also includes rate details for CNSGH-NGAPP, which may be subject to future changes, with further updates to be issued accordingly.
Maersk will also increase the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) on routes from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to Kenya and Dar es Salaam.
