CMA CGM recently announced the optimization of its Asia-Caribbean network for 2026.



These adjustments aim to enhance schedule reliability and strengthen port coverage on key routes. Here are the main structural changes for the upcoming year.




The PEX2 will continue to offer the most reliable direct service in the market, with an unrivaled port coverage. The service provides direct connections to the Dominican Republic, Panama, Jamaica,, and Mexico, and through direct feeders from CMA CGM’s three main hubs in Jamaica, Panama, and Colombia, it achieves extensive port coverage.



1. PEX2 route gets upgraded – optimized coverage in the Caribbean and Mexico




The new rotation of the service is as follows: Vung Tau - Sheou - Hong Kong - Ningbo - Shanghai - Qingdao - Pusan - Manzanillo (MX) - Balboa - Panama Canal - Manzanillo () - Cartagena - Kingston - Caucedo - Vung Tau




Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA): Vung Tau: December27, 2025




First sailing vessel: “m/v CMA CGM G. WASHINGTON”, voyage 0PPCZEMA




ETA Manzanillo (MX): February 6, 2026




The PEX2 service will be operated as a dedicated service the Caribbean and Mexico, offering enhanced service reliability and market coverage with the following two new initiatives:




Direct call to Vung Tau: Access to the Vietnamese via Southeast Asia feeders




Direct call to Manzanillo (MX): From 2026, a new solution for the Mexican import/export market



2. Two-phased implementation plan




Phase 1 (Week 1 - Week 7): The new service rotation goes into effect, with the addition Vung Tau and Manzanillo (MX), retaining Singapore during the transition period;




Phase 2 (Starting with the ETA Vung T of February 18, 2026): The new route configuration and the finalized rotation, as listed above, will be fully implemented.
