On the evening of Sunday, November 16th, the port of Cork, Ireland (IECOK), was filled with the of explosions, as a large fire destroyed a commercial warehouse housing 11 trucks, causing millions of euros in damage.


Cork City Fire Brigade's fire engines firefighters quickly arrived at the scene, and it is understood that much of the warehouse was already damaged by the time the fire brigade arrived.


It is understood that there were11 trucks inside the warehouse, many of which were loaded with timber, coal, and briquettes, ready for delivery, which provided a significant amount of fuel for the. The warehouse belonged to Independent Express Cargo company.


According to reports, there were massive explosions and thick smoke across the entire port, and the fire was brought under control 2:30 a.m.


Due to the complete destruction of the warehouse and its contents, the losses are expected to reach several million euros.
