THE COMPANY Hansa was founded in 1973 and had as its main goal the task of representing American buyers interested in our Brazilian products. The name Hansa came from: - Hanseatic League, XIV century, from north and central Europe. - In the very early times of Business Cooperation, Europe was very much alike a melting pot, and there was no political commitments. In 1975 we started to work with the Freight Forwarding business in our community. Until the end of 1985 we kept our core business as national and international airfreight services only, but as the market kept growing, we started with all the freight forwarding services available. Today we are a complete logistic provider. Hansa preserves the traditions and habits even in the globalized world we live today, but at the same time we keep implementing our services and learning new skills everyday. Nowadays we can observe that our main competitors are merging with others forced by the need of getting more shares in the market. Our main characteristic, taken in high consideration by our customers, is the fact that we deal with every client in an ly and way, as well as our partners abroad do, regarding the fact that they are all local companies.
